Remembering Neal Allen

Neal M. Allen, along with his wife, Joan, was a long-time supporter of JDRF and a lead contributor at the Hope Gala for many years. Sadly, Neal passed away in January, surrounded by his daughters, Elena, and Tracy, who lives with type one diabetes (T1D).
Neal’s greatest wish was to find a cure for T1D. He led by example leveraging One Walk teams at Invesco and influencing others to give to Fund a Cure annually. In 2014, Neal was presented with the Living and Giving Award, JDRF’s top honor, alongside his daughters and granddaughters, McKala and Camryn.
While Neal will be sorely missed, his legacy will live on in the T1D Community as a champion for our cause.
